T.D. Montena stands at the convergence of clinical science, education, and human transformation. As a doctoral scholar in psychology and specialist in psychotraumatology, her work advances the understanding of complex trauma, resilience, and posttraumatic growth through an integrative lens that bridges empirical rigor with humanistic insight.
Her practice embodies an evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered philosophy that redefines wellness as both an internal and relational process. Drawing from over a decade of clinical experience across psychiatric, residential, and community-based settings, she has cultivated an exceptional ability to translate the science of healing into practical frameworks for empowerment and emotional restoration.
T.D. Montena earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in forensics from Southern New Hampshire University. Currently pursuing her PhD. in Psychology, her research explores the neuropsychological and psychosocial mechanisms that underpin recovery from complex trauma, emphasizing the transformative role of resilience, intrinsic motivation, and meaning reconstruction.
