Confidential Information
Confidential information includes any identifying or personal data you share during coaching sessions, forms, email exchanges, or assessments. This may include your name, contact information, mental wellness concerns, service history, and payment records.

Compliance with HIPAA & Ethical Standards
Although coaching services are not clinical treatment, The Empowerment Coach, LLC voluntarily adheres to professional confidentiality standards and follows applicable regulations, including HIPAA when relevant. We provide written privacy statements upon request and uphold all federal, state, and ethical guidelines related to client privacy.

Your Rights
You have the right to:
• Access or request copies of your records
• Request corrections or clarifications
• Revoke consent to share information (in writing)

Limits of Confidentiality
Information may be disclosed without your consent only when legally required, including:
• Imminent danger to yourself or others
• Suspected abuse of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult
• Court orders or legal obligations

Consent to Release Information
No information will ever be shared with third parties—including family, employers, or other professionals—without your prior written permission. A signed release form is required for any disclosure.

Digital Sessions & Security
We take all reasonable precautions to secure electronic records and communication. However, confidentiality cannot be fully guaranteed through digital platforms such as email, video conferencing, or text. Your privacy remains a priority in every setting.

Data Retention
Records are securely maintained for seven (7) years from the last date of service, after which they may be permanently deleted or destroyed.

Professional Boundaries
Our working relationship is rooted in mutual respect and professionalism. If these boundaries are compromised in any way, services may be discontinued at the sole discretion of The Empowerment Coach, LLC.
